New Beginnings!

New Beginnings!

New Beginnings!

Happy New Year!!!!

Let’s all take a moment of silence and think back on 2017. Let’s start by thinking about all of the good things that happened this past year, all the things you have accomplished, all of the things that brought a smile to your face. Now pause for a second, enjoy this moment, smile and thank God for all the goodness in your life.

Now, let’s think about all of the things that you had hoped to achieve and didn’t, all of the things that you wish you had done different, and all of the things that brought tears to your eyes. Now, close your eyes and take a deep breath, through your nose, hold it for 10 seconds, then slowly breath out through your mouth and again… thank God for comforting you when you needed comforting, carrying you when you could no longer stand and guiding you when you were lost. Thank you Lord for 2017.

By The Grace Of God

2017 has been a year full of so much joy, yet so much pain for my family, and so many other families. As I am writing this and thinking back through all of this last year, I can’t help but hold back tears. God blessed us with our little baby girl on May 24th, 2017 which has been the greatest gift I have ever received. God has also guided me to start our soon to be famous tea company :). We have shared and celebrated so many things with friends and family, so when I think about all the good from 2017 I can’t help but smile.

2017 has also been one of the hardest years of my life. My sister had her life dramatically changed and two uncles and a friend have gone on to be with the Lord. With all the good and the bad that was 2017, we made it through by the grace of God. So again, thank you, Lord.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. Ecclesiastes 3:1

With every new year comes new resolutions. I want to take this time to share mine with all of you. As you probably know, if you read my first blog post “Pray, Give and Drink Tea“, Little Prayer Tea Company was not just created to sell tea, but to build a community. Within this community, we want to pray with and for one another over a delicious cup of tea. This year, 2018, my resolution will be more focused on the “giving” aspect of our company. We will still build up our community and continue to pray for one another, and of course, continue to offer delicious tea, but I want to focus on something that I feel God is calling Little Prayer Tea Company towards. I want to use this season of my life to help support and fundraise for as many people/organizations as I can. Can I get an AMEN!

Let’s Get This Party Started!

We are planning on starting 2018 off with a fundraiser that I am very excited about. Little Prayer Tea Company has partnered with The Genesis Project! Starting in the next couple of weeks, we will launch a fundraiser to help The Genesis Project as they continue to restore hope for a new life to young women exploited and caught up in the sex trade. For more information on the Genesis Project and how you can help, please visit our fundraising page here.

In order to fulfill my resolution of supporting and fundraising, I have created a fundraiser sign up page. If you know of anybody or any organizations that you think would be a good match for Little Prayer Tea Company, please feel free to fill out the form on the signup page and hopefully we can create a long partnership and strong community together. Also, throughout the year, I will be reaching out to as many churches and organizations as I can, in hopes of building our community and creating as many fundraisers as Little Prayer Tea can handle! Let’s all come together as a community and provide as much assistance as we can.

A Capital TEA

Side note… I had originally thought about writing a separate post for this information, but I finally decided to add it as a side note in this New Years post. Whenever Regina and I talk to people about our tea business, we almost always get the same question from them… “Where are you guys located”. Our normal answer is, “We are currently an online business, but if all goes well, we hope to open a shop in the new year”. Well… it’s the new year now! Starting at the end of January, we are going to be looking for a retail location! Our goal is to find a location and have our grand opening this August or Septemeber. We are very excited to see what God has planned for Little Prayer Tea Company and we need your support. From now until August, we are trying to raise capital in order to open our business. The more money we can raise from tea sales, the less money we need to get elsewhere. So please, tell your friends, share our posts, pay for a billboard spot and spread the word!!!!

Sincerely,
Ryan Conlon
