FAQ'S
Common questions, caring answers
Our company was founded on the belief that simple moments, like sipping a cup of tea, can be powerful opportunities for prayer, reflection, and connection with God. Each of our blends is thoughtfully crafted not only for its delightful flavor but also to inspire moments of peace and encouragement. We pair our teas with scripture and heartfelt messages, aiming to be a source of comfort and a reminder of God's love in your daily life.
Giving back is part of our heart. With each purchase, we contribute to ministries, families, and non-profits — both near and far. It’s an act of gratitude, and we believe that when you choose our teas, you're part of something that blesses others. If you would like to find out more about how we give back, visit here.
Yes — the devotions, scripture pairings, and reflections on our site are wrought from our own hearts. They are meant to offer rest, encouragement, and spiritual nourishment as much as our teas offer physical refreshment.
Faith is the heart of what we do. Every blend, every scripture card, every devotion is an opportunity for us to share love, comfort, hope, and peace. We want each cup to be more than tea — a moment to remember God’s presence with us.
God meets us in small moments. Try making one cup a day without rushing: set aside your device, pray, read a verse, observe the aroma, taste slowly. Let tea become a reminder of His rest. Our devotions are here to help guide you in those moments.
Every tea has a story — our teas are imported from places like India, Japan, China, Taiwan, among others. We believe in honoring the soil, the growers, and the journey from leaf to cup.
We’re in a season of transition! Our boxes and sample pouches are now using new packaging. The refill pouches and 1-lb pouches are still in the previous packaging. We’re excited for the full rollout.
Yes — many of our blends are naturally caffeine-free, especially our herbal and rooibos teas. If you're avoiding caffeine, look for the Caffeine Free section of our shop for peace and rest in every cup.
Tea generally contains about ⅓ to ½ the caffeine of a cup of coffee. While coffee tends to be 100-120 mg per 8 oz, most teas fall between 20-50 mg, depending on the type. We always recommend starting with lighter options if you're sensitive.
Store your tea in a dry, airtight container, kept away from heat, strong odors, and direct sunlight. Our airtight tins are a beautiful & practical option. With a little care, your tea can stay flavorful for many steeps.
Tea itself doesn’t “go bad” in the way food does, but it does lose flavor and aroma over time. We suggest enjoying loose leaf teas within a year or so of purchase when stored well. Herbal teas (tisanes) may have shorter best-by windows. Multiple steeps are often still delightful with many of our teas.
While we provide specific instructions on each package, here are some general guidelines to help you brew the perfect cup. Most importantly, we encourage you to brew your tea with intention—take a few deep breaths, say a little prayer, and allow the moment to be 'Faithfully Refreshing'.
- Black Teas: Use water just off the boil (around 200-212°F or 93-100°C) and steep for 3-5 minutes.
- Green Teas: Use cooler water (around 160-180°F or 71-82°C) to avoid bitterness. Steep for just 1-3 minutes.
- White Teas: Similar to green teas, use water between 170-185°F (76-85°C) and steep for 2-4 minutes for a delicate flavor.
- Herbal Teas (Tisanes): These are quite forgiving. Use boiling water (212°F or 100°C) and steep for 5-7 minutes to fully infuse the flavors.
- Rooibos Teas: Like herbal teas, use boiling water and steep for 5-7 minutes. Rooibos is naturally caffeine-free and won't become bitter if steeped longer.
Many of our teas can be re-steeped, yielding lovely evolving flavors with each steep. Herbal blends often give best flavor the first steep or two. Feel your way — sometimes a second or third steep gives unexpected blessings.
Yes! We have sample pouches so you can explore new flavors without committing to a large amount. We want you to find teas that soothe your soul and bring joy.
We use natural flavors for some of our tea blends. All of our natural flavors are extracts and not artificial, unless it says otherwise in the ingredients list. If you have particular sensitivities, we encourage checking the product description and reaching out to us — your wellness matters to God and to us.
We specialize in loose leaf teas and matcha. Matcha is ground leaf from whole tea plants, prepared differently than steeped loose leaf — more intense, and deeply nourishing in its ritual. Each product description will note what kind it is.
Yes! They contain the same blends, so the flavor you love in the little sample will carry through in a bigger pouch. Only the packaging is what’s changing for refill / bulk vs sample / box. We want your experience to stay consistent.

We’re so grateful to be able to share tea far and wide! We currently ship only within the United States. We ship mostly via USPS, but sometimes use UPS or FedEx. If your cart is under $49, there is a $5 shipping charge; when your order is $49 or more, shipping is free.
After you place your order, please allow 1-3 business days for us to lovingly prepare it and send it out. Once shipped, it usually takes 5-10 business days to arrive. During busy seasons (like holidays), it might take just a bit longer.
Your satisfaction is our ministry. If you are not completely happy with your purchase, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. While we cannot accept returns on opened tea for safety reasons, we want to ensure you have a positive experience and will work with you to make it right.
Oh dear — mistakes happen! Please contact us immediately if you need to correct your shipping address. Once the order is “delivered”, we’re unable to replace or refund based on lost or misdelivered items. Always double-check your address before confirming your order.
